What Happened to Bricks in the Breeze?

You may have noticed recently that the bright & colourful Bricks in the Breeze has disappeared from the Cairns Pier. What happened? Where did it go?

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Bricks in the Breeze was required to vacate its location at The Pier. This happened just after Jonas returned from an overseas trip. There was a limited window of time to pack up the storefront, hence why it disappeared so abruptly.

I know Jonas is greatly appreciative of The Pier for allowing him to host Bricks in the Breeze in their shopping centre over the last 10 months, and there may be an opportunity for it to return in the future. I commend Jonas on his amazing work and dedication to Bricks in the Breeze - he gave up so many weekends and his personal time to bring locals together and host fun LEGO & kite-flying activities, and The Pier will feel a bit emptier without the vibrant LEGO displays on show.
